Undergraduate Student Government will meet for the first time this academic year at 4 p.m. today in the Governance Chambers of the Student Center.

“Each of the executive cabinet (members) and senators will give a little brief report,” Executive Director Jonathan Bey said. “Basically, what everyone did over the summer and what’s coming up (this year).”

Meetings will be held every week, but the meeting schedule has changed.

The USG charter requires that USG meet biweekly, but Bey said he did not think twice a month was frequent enough. Bey said the executive cabinet will meet weekly to “stay on top of things,” and the full USG will meet biweekly.
