The College of Nursing is opening a new laboratory today in Henderson Hall.

The Olga A. Mural Nursing Simulation Laboratory will be dedicated at 2 p.m today. The lab contains cutting-edge technology that will provide an interactive training facility for nursing students.

“We’re very excited to have this technology,” Nancy Aho, laboratory coordinator, said. “It is rather innovative and it really makes a difference in terms of spurring nursing education.”

President Lester Lefton will be at the dedication along with Laura Dzurec, dean of the College of Nursing. The lab is named after Mural for her contributions to funding the lab.
