Gunmen rob McDonald’s

An armed robbery occurred at the McDonald’s in Kent on South Water Street Thursday at approximately 8:30 p.m. There were no injuries.

Kent Police Lt. Ray Stein described the suspects as two black males in their late teens or early 20s. They were wearing patterned hoodies during the robbery, he said.

According to a police department press release, the two men, who were carrying handguns, fled the scene on foot following the robbery.

The two removed $200 in gift certificates and $4,330 in cash from the registers, according to the police report.

Stein said no arrests have been made.
