KSU basketball player pleads not guilty

Jamilah C. Humes, one of the Kent State women’s basketball players charged last semester with receiving stolen property, was arraigned Tuesday. She pleaded not guilty on counts of forgery and possession of stolen property. Her pre-trial hearing was set for 9 a.m. May 30 at the Portage County Common Pleas Court, and her jury trial will be 10 a.m. June 30.
