The Festival of Lights tomorrow will offer a unique downtown experience, said Dan Smith, executive director for the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce.

Santa, window displays and carriage rides will all be included in the festival.

“We want to create an old-time atmosphere with nice window displays,” he said. “We’ve always connected shopping

with the Festival of Lights.”

The carriage rides will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Guests can board the carriage at Home Savings Plaza on East Main Street and take a ride around the block.

Smith said Santa will also roll into town by train at 6 p.m. Children can meet with Santa from 6:15 to 8 p.m.
