Share life through today’s blood drive

Adam Griffiths

The Kent State community can help raise money for scholarships today and tomorrow at the LifeShare blood drive.

Students, staff and faculty can donate blood in the DeWeese Health Center parking lot from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days. For every 35 collections received, LifeShare Blood Services donates one $500 scholarship for a student planning on a career in health or medicine. Scholarships based on blood donations collected during this school year will be awarded next fall.

Those interested in donating blood must schedule an appointment beforehand at www.lifesharedonor.org with sponsor code KSUMAIN. All who donate will receive a coupon for a free Chipotle burrito while supplies last.

For more information on the blood drive or the LifeShare scholarship, contact the Office of Health Promotion at 330-672-2320.
