The Outdoor Adventure Center will host an overnight survival trip to the West Branch State Park on Nov. 9 and 10.

Participants will learn how to survive in the wilderness without bringing anything, said Dave Herpy, outdoor adventure and camp coordinator.

The center is teaming up with the Midwest Native Skills Institute, a wilderness outdoors school, to teach students how to build shelter, make fire and harvest food.

Participants will meet at 3 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center and be back at the rec center at noon Nov. 10.

Registration ends tomorrow. The cost for students and members is $75, and for non-members it is $110.

Those interested can contact the Pro Shop at (330) 672-4REC.
