Adventure Center goes horseback
October 9, 2007
The Adventure Center will host a horseback riding trip to Salt Fort State Park, which is just south of Cambridge, on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Participants will leave the Student Recreation and Wellness Center at 9 a.m. and arrive at the park at 10:45, eat lunch then ride horseback for two hours. Participants will only ride for two hours because of the high cost of riding.
After the ride, participants will hike for a couple hours, have dinner and be back at the rec center by 8 p.m.
Transportation, equipment and food will be provided. The cost is $75 for students and members and $110 for nonmembers.
Registration ends today. Those interested should contact the rec center.
