Go Tigers

Football is woven into the very fabric of Massillon, Ohio. But Massillon football is high school football. Paul Brown Stadium holds 21,000 people, sells out rivalry games and has heaps of season ticket holders. Washington High School Alumni and the residents of Massillon eat, sleep and breathe football all season long. People in Massillon make a living off this phenomenon by selling souvenirs, team clothing and jerseys, photos, posters — you name it. There is tailgating at every game. The team has more fans than the home team at away games. Everywhere it’s orange and black, and the team spirit has inspired a documentary film titled Go Tigers. The loyalty is deeply rooted in a Massillon tradition.

It’s all about football.
