The Center for Student Involvement’s Super-Service Saturdays will offer students five more chances to lend a hand this semester.

Dates to participate in community service projects are Sept. 22, Oct. 13 and 27, Nov. 17 and Dec. 1.

“Anyone can volunteer depending on when they are free,” said Megan Odell-Scott, leader of Kent State’s Volunteers in Service to America group.

The program’s listserv sends each student who signs up weekly e-mails about how they can volunteer and when.

Tomorrow, 30 students will spend some time in a few of Kent’s parks for the river clean-up at Middlebury Bridge and the Fish Creek Water Reclamation Facility.

Only a certain number of people can participate depending on the location, so students must sign up for future events.
