Volleyball keeps perfect record, beats YSU

The Kent State volleyball team kept up its winning ways in its first match at the Mizuno/Golden Flash Invitational.

The Flashes (8-0) defeated Youngstown State, 3-0, tonight at the M.A.C. Center. In its first home match of the season, the team won the individual games by scores of 30-26, 30-19 and 30-24.

In the first match of the evening, Binghamton University defeated Canisius 3-0, winning the three games 30-18, 30-20 and 30-19.

The Flashes will return to action tomorrow with two matches, taking on Canisius at 1 p.m. and Binghamton at 5 p.m. at the M.A.C. Center.
