New administrative position created at KSU

President Lester Lefton will announce a new appointment to the university’s staff today, according to FlashLine message sent late this morning.

Lefton named Robert B. “Yank” Heisler Jr. as special assignment to the president for community and business strategies. According to the message, the new post will help develop university and business partnerships to capitalize on university research. Heisler will also serve as an adviser and strategist to Lefton on “vital opportunities and policy issues.”

Heisler is the retired chairman of KeyBank National Association and retired chief executive officer of McDonald Financial Group.
