Skateboard ban ignored

Sophomore architecture major Larry Servis says he’s been skating for six years. He said although he was skating on the May 4 Memorial, he didn’t want to damage it. “I feel like skating on top does just as much as raindrops on top,” he said. He would skate off campus, Servis said, if there was a decent skate park nearby. “Just cause it’s a memorial doesn’t mean I can’t skate on it,” he said.
