A member of the Improve Our University – I.O.U. – ticket, senator for academic affairs candidate Kali Price said she recognizes the problems with Kent State’s academics and is ready to make changes.

KALI PRICE

• Candidate for academic affairs

• Junior newspaper journalism major from Cleveland

• Panhellenic delegate and public relations chair for Sigma Sigma Sigma

• First Year Colloquium Instructor

• University Task Force member

• Wants to continue improving problems with the academic complaint form

Price wants to make the KAPS report more understandable for students. The current report is confusing and not enough information is available for students to understand it, she said.

In addition, she said she would like to discuss what is wrong with freshman orientation classes. A first year colloquium instructor herself, Price thinks important information isn’t getting to students.

Previously the student politics reporter for the Daily Kent Stater, Price said she decided to run for office because of the relationships she built with USS while reporting. She found the position interesting and believes her involvement with Sigma Sigma Sigma as the Panhellenic delegate and the public relations chair will help her if she’s elected.
