Student employees, stand up and take a bow.

The Career Services Center will award student workers for their time and devotion from 1 to 3 p.m. April 9 in Room 306 of the Student Center. Students must RSVP to their on-campus supervisors before March 30. The first 300 RSVPs will be invited to the event.

Once a year during National Student Employment Week, a recognition event is held for them. The annual event has a new twist this year, slightly changing the procedures of years passed.

In the past, the program was called Student Employee of the Year. Student workers were nominated by their supervisors and then awarded at the event. The award ceremony was then held for the winners and their families.

This year, however, the event is open to all workers and the nomination process is no longer in effect.
