Land of the free, home of the witholding of information

Ryan Szymczak

Who turned out the lights? Oh, just our government. I guess that’s all right; the rest of us will just feel around here in the dark while 14 alleged terror suspects go before the ‘combatant status review tribunals.’

Reporters have been banned from hearings in Cuba that will feature a who’s-who of terrorists that were, we’re told, huge players in the Sept. 11 nightmare.

Namely, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, will stand before the ‘tribunal.’ Supposedly – well – according to the U.S. Intelligence Department, he was the main man who strategically organized the Uncle Sam sucker-punch on that day in September we’ll always remember.

If he was captured in March 2003, why has it taken so long for these hearings to take place?

Why aren’t reporters permitted to gauge the hearings for the American faithful, who have stood behind the reasoning and actions of the decision-making suits from the beginning?

The government will eventually release a transcript of the hearings. According to CNN.com, Pentagon spokespuppet Bryan Whitman admitted the transcript will be edited to remove the stuff that, if leaked, could threaten national security, which when translated for the skeptic, looks something like, “we’ll make these guys look as guilty as possible, things they say will be edited, blacked out, taken out of context and reworded so that it appears the good guys are getting the bad guys.”

Let’s theorize here with some off-the-wall speculation. I’ve come into some very interesting inside information concerning our government. Those folks out there who bleed red, white and blue will likely turn one of those three colors in response to the blasphemous proceedings.

Either way, it’s cool- – I’ll invoke the power of free speech here. I highly doubt the government will be able to intercept this eye-opening information before it reaches you.

This is going to change the way you look at your country.

Hold on tight.

Here goes.
