The senator for student relations is the liaison between students and the administration, said Christen Coppola, current senator for students relations.

“I constantly have students asking me questions from all different ends,” Coppola said, adding that it is important for the senator to do his or her best to find answers to their questions.

In addition, she said it is important for the senator to always be available to students and be informed about what’s happening on campus.
