Ohio Dems to announce Sen. Zurz’s replacement tonight
February 12, 2007
The Ohio State Democratic Caucus will announce tonight at 7 p.m. who will replace State Sen. Kimberly Zurz in the 28th District.
Zurz, who resigned to head the Ohio Department of Commerce, has represented all of Portage County, part of Akron and part of Green since 2003.
Democrats in the Ohio Senate interviewed state Rep. Kathleen Chandler, Summit County Councilwoman Paula Prentice, and Tom Sawyer, a state board of education member, for the vacancy last week.
