Lee Walker, founder and president of the New Coalition for Economic and Social Change and columnist for the Chicago Defender, will speak today about conservative multiculturalism.

Mark Weber, dean of Libraries and Media Services, said Walker will speak about strategies for the empowerment of underprivileged people — focusing on education, family and business opportunities.

Libraries and Media Services is bringing Walker to Kent State as part of Black History Month.

He will speak at 4 p.m. in Room 319 in the Student Center.
