The Portage County Drug Task Force busted a Kent State freshman on Thursday for selling drugs to college students.
Mallory Michael, a freshman pre-marketing major, was arrested by the task force at about 3:30 p.m. outside Fletcher Hall. Portage County Sherriff Duane Kaley said the task force has been investigating her for around a month for illegally selling Adderall, a prescription medication used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
Kaley confirmed the arrest.
Michael is charged with two counts of felony drug trafficking charges and a felony count of possession of criminal tools. She was taken to the Portage County Jail and will be arraigned in court on Monday.
