KSU volleyball coach Mora Kanim resigns

After 10 years as Kent State volleyball coach, Mora Kanim has resigned.

The team ended its season with seven straight losses and a first-round loss to Eastern Michigan on Tuesday in the Mid-American Conference Tournament.

According to the Kent State Athletic Department, Kanim’s resignation will be effective Nov. 30. Director of Athletics Laing Kennedy said the search for a new volleyball coach will begin immediately.

Under Kanim’s leadership, the Flashes finished the season with a 13-16 record. She is the winningest volleyball coach in Kent State history.
