Changes in store for Homecoming

The annual Homecoming bonfire has been canceled.

The pep rally, however, will be moved to the M.A.C. Center and start at 7 p.m. tonight in the front lobby.

The All Campus Programming Board worked to put together a pizza eating contest in which the winner will move on to the final round at Tailgate Alley Saturday. The winner on Saturday will receive free Hungry Howie’s pizza for one year.

The cheerleaders will teach the crowd a cheer for Saturday’s game, which Katie Hale, festival arts director for ACPB, hopes will continue the school spirit because the football team has been doing well.

About 22 student groups will have games at their tables, and an iPod will be given away.

Coach Doug Martin and the football captains will be introduced along with the 2006 Homecoming court.
