‘Gods and goddesses’ at Sextoberfest

Free condoms and lubrication makes a good party.

Kent Interhall Council and University Dining Services will hold their annual Sextoberfest tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m.

Director of Programming John Machingo said the sexual education program is one of KIC’s biggest programs and will be held in the Eastway Cafe.

Machingo said there will be 650 free T-shirts students can win.

“So it’s not first come, first served. You at least have a chance to win a T-shirt,” he said.

Eastway Cafe will sell Greek-themed food from 4 to 8 p.m., and KIC will provide free snacks and drinks during the event. There will be a live disc jockey from 7 to 9 p.m.

Machingo said he has ordered 7,000 condoms and 1,000 packs of lubrication for the event.

Planned Parenthood, the Women’s Resource Center and the University Health Center will sponsor four tables. The hall councils of all the residence halls will have sex games for the remaining tables.

Machingo said some of the games students will see are a lube ring toss, a toy store, Kama Sutra memory game, a wedding chapel and condom cornhole.

He said the theme for this year’s Sextoberfest is “Gods and Goddesses.” The National Residence Hall Honorary is sponsoring a toga contest. A male and female winner will receive a $100 American Express gift card.
