Students can now compete in events during the Homecoming festivities.

Kent Interhall Council is sponsoring its first President’s Spirit Cup Competition, KIC President Traci Sanders said. Winners will be chosen and receive the President’s Spirit Cup for its division.

“If they are in an organization, live on campus or are Greeks, they can compete,” Sanders said.

There will be two informational meetings for students to find out more. The first meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. today in Room 314 in the Student Center. The second meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday in Room 204 in the same building.

Sanders said the meetings are the only place for potential participants to pick up a registration form. People who want to participate can go to the meetings to find out the specific details about Homecoming and ask questions. KIC encourages organizations to send only one representative to the meetings.

Registration forms for all organizations and halls must be turned in by 7 p.m. Sept. 29 in Room 317 of the Student Center.
