Students to speak on their study abroad trips

Three Student Alumni Association students who have studied abroad in the past year will recap their experiences at 9 p.m. tonight in room 318 of the Student Center.

Discussion topics include program costs, how to have fun, the content of internships and classes taken during the study abroad period.

They’ll also talk about what students can do to prepare themselves.

Michelle McCall, president of the Student Alumni Association, said she studied abroad with the Washington Program.

“I felt that it would open doors for a lot of opportunities,” she said.

She studied in Washington, D.C. for the spring semester and had the chance to meet members of Congress, which she feels will be beneficial to her career.

Other study abroad students attended the Ireland Program and the Columbus Program.
