New Zealand band, All Left Out, plays tonight at Europe Gyro.

New Zealand band All Left Out is coming to Europe Gyro today at 9:30 p.m. to perform its own brand of punk-inspired rock.

Members of various bands came together four years ago in Hamilton, New Zealand, to found All Left Out, guitarist Dave Murray said.

“The big difference between this band and a lot of others is that we actually like each other and get along well,” Murray said. “We have fun with the music and hopefully our fans have fun with it too.”

The band released Retrospect in January 2003, a disc they funded and recorded themselves. Two years later they released eight previously unreleased tracks.

“Last year we were handing out our CD to whoever would take it,” Murray said. “The people who heard us liked us, and now we’ve got a really cool growing group of fans.”

While the band has a sound all its own, All Left Out drummer Nathan Speeden says its musical style will appeal to fans of Green Day and Blink 182.

In America for a 40-day tour, the band will perform with When Words Fail You. Tickets are $2 at the door.
