Rec center to offer instructional classes

Session two of instructional classes at the Recreation and Wellness Center will begin tomorrow.

Classes are six weeks long and are offered on various days and times throughout the week. Popular classes include fitness yoga, Pilates basics, hip-hop dance and boxing basics.

“Students can learn new skills,” said Paula Murray, marketing director at the rec center. “Many people take the classes for the exercise.”

To participate in a class, it costs $20 for students and $25 for members. Students may purchase a try pass for $5 that allows students to see if they will like the class before paying the final class fee. Try passes only will be available for the first week of instructional classes.
