Viewing party for game to be held at the Rathskeller
March 16, 2006
For those who can’t make the trip to Auburn Hills, Mich., for the Kent State men’s basketball game Friday but want to feel like they’re part of the cheering crowd, don’t resort to watching the game on a 17-inch television.
All Campus Programming Board and Kent Student Center Programming have joined efforts to offer students an opportunity to view the game on the big screen at the Rathskeller. Doors open at 5 p.m. tomorrow, and all students are invited to show their Kent State spirit.
The athletic department and various alumni will donate prizes to give away during the game.
“This is a great opportunity for people to come to one place and watch the game together,” ACPB adviser Tom Simpson said.
The Flashes face the Panthers of Pittsburgh at 7:10 p.m.
