Bracket Buster Saturday tip-off set for 12:30 p.m.

ESPN announced the Kent State men’s basketball team will host Butler at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 18 at the M.A.C. Center.

The game will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

The Flashes have participated in Bracket Buster Saturday, presented by ESPN and eBay, for the past four seasons. In the 2005 season, the Flashes fell to Southern Illinois 65-54.

This season, the Flashes (16-6, 10-1 Mid-American Conference) are now No. 1 in the MAC after defeating No. 2 Akron 63-57 Saturday.

Other MAC teams will be participating in the Bracket Buster event as well. Akron will be playing at Nevada at 9 p.m. Feb. 17. Buffalo will be at Iona at noon Feb. 18, and Samford will visit Ohio at 8 p.m. Feb. 18. Akron will be televised on ESPNU, while Buffalo and Ohio will both be televised on ESPN360.
