COLUMN: Abortion is a form of black genocide

Bill Bennett’s “Morning in America,” which airs on approximately 115 radio stations, has an estimated weekly audience of 1.25 million, according to mediamatters.org. Bennett stated during his show Sept. 28, ” . . . [Y]ou could abort every black baby in this country, and your crime rate would go down. That would be impossible, ridiculous and morally repressible thing to do, but your crime rate would go down.”

Bennett was a former Reagan administration secretary of education. With a former political leader saying such a stereotypical comment, it makes me wonder: Has this government been legalizing abortion because it is the number one killer among blacks?

The Center for Disease Control and Prevention reported that the number of abortions per 1,000 live births was 246 in 2000, compared to 256 in 1999.

Before the census calculated abortion rates, the National Center for Health Statistics bridged race and ethnicity data for abortion rates. The abortion ratio for black women was 503 per 1,000 live births. That’s three times the ratio of white women, which is 167 per 1,000 live births. This is a startling number, and it shows that there is black genocide going on in our country today.

When Bush and Kerry were running for presidency, both seemed to have wanted abortions to continue. Kerry stated he wanted to keep abortions around, while Bush tried to manipulate Americans by not spending federal funds on partial abortion. Partial abortion is when a baby’s skull is punctured to remove the brain as it remains outside the womb. Sure, Bush doesn’t want the baby to be killed like that, but womensissues.about.com claims only 1 percent of abortions were reported to use that method.

Abortion is the number one killer among blacks in America based on statistics from conservatives.org. The Web site reported that since 1973, more than 13 million black children were aborted. That’s a higher number than the reported 10 million slaves that were born or brought to this country.

It is true that black women can choose to abort. With the lack of sex education and jobs for many blacks, these women find it the best option either for themselves or for their babies. The solution to this black genocide is simple: End abortion now! Along with that, America needs to stop letting corporations pay small portions of money to people in other countries for what is known as “modern-day slavery.” By ending modern-day slavery, there would be more jobs for blacks. And having better sex education in schools can prevent unwanted births.

Bennett is only one of those from our corrupt government that would like to continue abortion since it is one of the top killers of blacks. There has been a never- ending economic disadvantage among blacks since they were brought to America. Many blacks can’t find jobs due to corporations outsourcing foreign countries. Abortion is obviously a plan by the government to exterminate the black race in America, and it needs to be stopped now.
