The deadline to nominate faculty for the 2005 Distinguished Honors Faculty Award is Jan. 31. Forms can be found in the Honors College Office in Van Campen Hall.

The Honors College has been rewarding exceptional educating with the Distinguished Honors Faculty Award since 1991, said Becky Gares, coordinator of advising and alumni relations. Previous recipients are not eligible to be nominated again.

To be considered for nomination, a faculty member must have taught at least three Honors courses, including directing a thesis or supervising individual work. Any student at the main or regional campuses may nominate a faculty member.

The recipient will be announced in mid-February and honored at the Seniors Honors Brunch on April 3 with a plaque and a gift certificate, Gares said.
