A “Justice for Jayland Walker” event and protest was held in Akron Tuesday following a grand jury decided not to indict eight Akron police officers involved in the shooting death of Jayland Walker last June.

Freedom Block, the Akron NAACP, the Akron Urban League and Walker’s family attorney, Bobby DiCello, spoke on his death and how the community of Akron is demanding change moving forward.
