This is an updating story.
Tickets to USG’s fall concert headlined by Mariah the Scientist are now free, USG announced in an Instagram post Wednesday. Tickets were originally $20.
USG President Julie Buonaiuto said students who already bought tickets will be reimbursed in a reply to an Instagram comment on the post.
“Keep a look out in your email inbox,” she responded.
Doors will open for the concert at 7 p.m. Saturday in the Student Center Ballroom. Kent State students can reserve tickets through the link in USG’s Instagram bio.
Mariah the Scientist is an R&B and soul artist who has released songs such as “Spread Thin” and “Always n Forever” featuring rapper Lil Baby.
The concert, which will also feature DJ Smillz, the university’s in-house DJ, was announced August 20.
KentWired is currently in contact with USG for further comments but did not receive a response by the time of publication.
