About Us

KentWired is a collaborative effort of student journalists working for The Kent Stater and TV2, both independent student media outlets at Kent State University. KentWired also acts as a hub to connect all student media publications by featuring their content, as well.

The Kent Stater

The Kent Stater is an award-winning student-run newspaper. For the spring 2023 semester, The Kent Stater will publish two special editions in print, including its annual Best of Kent edition.

TV2

TV2 is a student-run television station that streams on KentWired. The station features live news at 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, entertainment and sports programming and live election night coverage. TV2 is an affiliate of the Open Student Television Network.
