First snow flurries fall Halloween night

Light flurries began to fall around 8 p.m. Tuesday, Halloween night, marking the first snow fall of the season in Kent.

While walking on the ramp between Verder and Prentice halls, a student was heard shouting, “It’s snowing! I love snow!” while looking up at the sky smiling.
