Kent State has one of the most well-known pilot programs nationally and internationally, mainly for the way they give students experience through having them fly planes. Students receive flying hours that go towards the mandated requirement of hours for their graduation. One way they can do this is through becoming a flight instructor for new pilot program students who are just learning to fly.
