The Office of Global Education, in collaboration with University Culinary Services, hosted its annual International Cook-Off Competition during the university’s International Education Week. Teams of students represented their nation of origin by cooking a series of dishes for guests, as well as judges who selected first, second and third place winners at the end of the night. Guests also could vote for their favorite dish, with the winner receiving the People’s Choice Award. On this year’s edition, seven countries were represented: China, Ghana, India, Iran, Nigeria, Peru and Sri Lanka. TV2’S Michael Neenan was at the event and has all the details.
