“What is Black to you?” is a question that could be answered in many ways. But with the help of the “Black Is” event hosted by Black United Students, Kent State students and staff were given a chance to make their mark through a visual display. This event encouraged students to place their handprint, name and their definition of being Black, onto a banner, which will be hung in one of many buildings at Kent State University.
