The Kent Area Chamber of Commerce hosted “Lunch with the Chiefs” to promote communication between the safety and the civilians they serve. Key speakers for the event were Chief of Police Nick Shearer and Fire Chief Jamie Samuels. Both chiefs got to discuss why they chose to serve the public, how their forces are engaging with the community and their practices. The luncheon allowed the chamber to extend knowledge on the security of their area for the first time.
