July 13, 2018
Jesse McCartney brought his “Beautiful Soul” to a sold out show at the House of Blues Cleveland on July 5. The audience was filled with fans of all ages excited to jam out to their childhood crush.
As soon as the doors opened, fans dashed to the stage, looking to get as close as possible.
The show consisted of two opening acts.
The first was a band titled Just Seconds Apart, which consists of a group of triplets.
The band covered songs like “Ride” by Twenty One Pilots and their single titled “Santorini Dream” recently released this past March.
The next opening act was titled PUBLIC, a band based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Known for opening for bands such as WALK THE MOON and Twenty One Pilots, they brought strong energy to the stage, encouraging the audience to get involved in their live set. The band performed their brand new song “One That I Want.”
McCartney entered the stage playing a Maschine, a hardware/software digital audio workstation developed by Native Instruments.
Soon McCartney 2008 hit “Leavin’” began to play, which sent the audience into a palpable frenzy.
As the night began to come to a close, he preformed a acoustic mashup of his hits “Anybody”, “Because You Live” and “Right Where you Want Me”. Later in the show, Jesse invited a fan on stage with him as he sang his song “The Stupid Things.”
McCartney closed the show with 2004 hit, “Beautiful Soul.”
