The NBA, the Cleveland Cavaliers and Sports Crate, a subscription-based company, have agreed to a partnership deal called NBA Sports Crate, KentWired has learned.

According to Sports Crate’s website, the company provides “fans with fresh and new official team gear, collectibles and more year round” in their bi-monthly subscription boxes.

The site offers three different subscription plan choices, with the more expensive plans offering added apparel. It also includes a free subscription to Sports Illustrated, with annual subscribers earning additional discounts and opportunities to win apparel.

The subscription for the NBA Sports Crates will start at $29.99 per month, and will be delivered in the form of a bi-monthly subscription, with the contents including exclusive team-focused products.

Up until now, Sports Crate only had 10 MLB teams available on their site for fans to purchase gear from. Now, they will have 13 NBA teams coming into the partnership deal.

Along with the Cavaliers, NBA teams joining the partnership deal are the Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Golden State Warriors, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, Minnesota Timberwolves, New York Knicks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers and the San Antonio Spurs.

Contents of each crate will be a surprise for everyone; however, one hero product will be unveiled in advance. The first month’s crate features new Mitchell & Ness snapbacks, a timed variant exclusive to NBA Sports Crate. This is only available first for subscribers. Crates will be offered individually, in a three-crate series or in an annual pass of all six crates.
