Take your taste buds on a ride at the 345 Flats leasing and welcome event with a visit from the Barrio food truck.

Every person who signs a new lease, takes a tour or gives 345 Flats a positive review on social media will receive a voucher for one free taco from the food truck.

Cash purchases are welcome for those who do not have a voucher.

Multiple Kent apartment complexes are struggling to fill available units since leasing season is nearing an end, and the staff at 345 Flats is excited to host this event in order to attract new leasers and bring the apartment community together.

Leasing manager Lexie Baughman and other staff members have been on campus daily, handing out flyers for the event.

“Because of our thorough marketing tactics and monthly leasing events we hold, like this upcoming Barrio event, the entire staff is hopeful that we will fill the remaining 50 percent of our units left,” Baughman said.

Property manager Brittany Mullen is excited for students to not only attend the event, but also see what 345 Flats has to offer.

“We are so much more than just a fun place to live,” Mullen said. “We put our residents and community first in terms of experience, safety and honesty, and that is what we want people to see when they attend these events.”

The event will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, next door to 345 Flats in the Kent Church of Christ parking lot on Depeyster Street.
