18 year old Zachary Blosser was arraigned in Ravenna municipal court Monday morning on charges of first degree murder.

The judge set his bond at 2 million dollars.

Blosser is accused of killing his 17-year-old girlfriend after shooting her in the mouth on Friday.

Police say Blosser claims the gun went off by accident however police say it was Blosser who shot the victim and that’s why he’s charged him with first degree murder.

It happened in a house on Knowlton road in Nelson Township. The victim’s grandmother and several grandchildren were also in the house at the time.

According to the judge, Blosser has a previous record and is considered a threat to the community. 

Blosser will be back in court for a preliminary hearing Friday, March 19 at 8:30 a.m.
