Super Bowl LI will be played on February 5, 2017 in Houston, Texas, but downtown businesses are getting ready for the crowds of people who will be watching in Kent, Ohio.

Restaurants like Buffalo Wild Wings and Ray’s Place plan to treat Super Bowl Sunday just like any other day.

However, other restaurants, such as Bar 145, Panini’s, and Water Street Tavern, are having specials on wings, pizza, craft beers and other drinks. The local bars on South Water St. are preparing by stocking orders on alcohol and creating menus with various food options for customers to enjoy while watching the game.

Local residents believe South Water St. will be crowded with many football fans on Sunday.
