University MLK Day events scheduled for Monday

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr.’s memory and service, students at Kent State are giving back.

Kent State’s Hillel will host its annual MLK Day of Service on Monday, giving students the opportunity to sign up to volunteer around Kent.

Locations for the day’s events have varied in the past, from being held at food banks to retirement homes.

Volunteers will depart from the Cohn Jewish Center at 8:30 a.m. return at 2 p.m.
