Cleveland.com has nominated the Kent State men’s basketball team for its “Person of the Month.” 

The team joins seven other individuals or groups who are be candidates for the honors. The nomination follows the team’s decision to lock arms with fans of different races during the playing of the national anthem prior to each home game.
