Those Damn Dames, an upcoming art show presented by the Standing Rock Culture Arts, will be hosted at the North Water Street Gallery on Friday.

The event is the opening reception where patrons can observe and purchase art by Audrey Henry, the artist behind the show.

“I would describe my style of art as women who like to be flirty and embrace their sexuality,” Henry said. “In the end, I just like making fun art and so far people have enjoyed them as well.”

Henry also will be signing her most recent book “Selfies” at the reception. The art show will run until August 20.

“Most of the art will be priced from $25 to $100, so it won’t be anything too pricey,” Henry said. ” If anything, I’m just glad I’m able to share my art with the people of Kent.”
