During the Ohio Delegation breakfast Tuesday morning, House Speaker Paul Ryan described his plan to fight poverty, stressed a need to secure the homeland and—at the end of his speech—encouraged Ohio Republicans to do one thing: vote for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

“Voting for anybody but Donald Trump means you’re voting for Hillary Clinton,” he said, during the breakfast at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Cleveland.

The Wisconsin congressman compared the primary to Big 10 defensive strategies of his home state’s “up the middle” approach against Urban Meyer’s “West Coast offense.”

“We all run different offensives in the primary. When one of use goes on to the Rose Bowl, we all root for each other,” he said. “We’re all on the same team. We all want the same thing.”

While Ryan showed distaste toward Trump’s strategies, presumptive Democratic presidential candidate  Hillary Clinton’s administration would be even more  unfavorable, he said.

“Hillary Clinton doesn’t agree with any of this,” he said. “Hillary Clinton is a third Obama term.”

Ryan also noted the importance of Ohio in this election.

“Ohio is the determiner of where this nation goes,” he said. “As Ohio goes, so goes the nation.”
