Andreas Diamantopoulos, a Kent State junior and Stow native, died Feb. 28 from a heroin overdose. The business management major had previously received a four-year academic scholarship to attend Kent State. Diamontopoulos was 21 and was known for his smarts in school and his athleticism in wrestling.

Funeral services for Diamontopoulos will be held at 7 p.m. at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Akron.
