CCI dean’s office moves locations
February 4, 2016
The College of Communication and Information (CCI) dean’s office and staff moved in early January from Moulton Hall to the School of Library and Information Science in the University Library.
“We had to swing to a new location to accommodate the changes in the campus’ building renovations,” said Jennifer Kramer, CCI’s director of public relations and marketing communication.
Taylor Hall, which houses the College of Architecture and Environmental Design, the College of Communication Studies and the College of the Arts, will be undergoing renovations at the end of the semester. Kramer said the CCI ultimately moved to help make sure these colleges had somewhere to go for the duration of the renovations.
The CCI will have an open house Friday, for CCI faculty and staff as well as the executive officers who reside on the second floor of the library. President Beverly Warren will be in attendance for a short time.
The open house will also serve as an opportunity for CCI faculty and staff to meet Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist and new Professional in Residence, Connie Schultz.
